1800Prepare.com was conceived and developed by two emergency responders, Paul Faust and Gregg Hamerschlag. Our inspiration for this disaster preparedness company evolved from personal disaster experience coupled with North America’s increasing need for emergency survival information and products. Both partners discerned a burgeoning need for personal, family and company disaster planning and equipping. In recent years we have all seen that natural and man-made disasters are devastating to those who are un-prepared.
From the outset, we desired to create a Website rich in preparedness, safety and survival information. Pre-planning for emergencies yields better protection. Our company is dedicated to providing consumers with high-quality survival and safety preparation gear. We believe that “the best defense is a good offense.” It is important to prepare ourselves, our families, our loved ones and our business colleagues for any and all emergency or catastrophic situations.
Disasters and emergencies take many forms. And they often strike suddenly, without warning. Natural disasters include Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Tornados, Wildfires, Floods and Snowstorms. Man-made disasters include Terrorism and Terrorist Strikes, Power Outages, Blackouts, Chemical Spills, Auto accidents and a variety of other calamities. These potentially catastrophic events occur in every region of the world.
In addition to survival planning information and guides, we offer a wide range of disaster preparedness products. Our 72 hour kits, which are also commonly referred to as “3 day kits,” are a great starting point. Rather than scouring the Internet for safety and survival supplies, browse our deep stock of safety supplies. We have a tremendous assortment of kits and products in-stock. For those of you who would prefer to build your own survival kits, we also offer a nice selection of first aid supplies, emergency food and water, survival tools, emergency flashlights, radios and other items from which to choose.
